YY Cooperative (“the Cooperative”) recognizes the importance of the personal information entrusted to us by member companies, people who contact us, technical intern trainees and Specified Skilled Workers. We comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and related laws, and handle personal information properly as follows.
1. Collection of personal information
We collect personal information by lawful and fair means.
2. Purpose of use
We use personal information we collect for the following purposes: - Answering and contacting you about inquiries - Support, supervision and support plans for Technical Intern Training and Specified Skilled Workers - Providing information to member companies and running the cooperative - Procedures and reports required by law
3. Disclosure to third parties
Except as required by law, we never give personal information to third parties without consent. For Technical Intern Training and Specified Skilled Worker procedures, we may provide necessary information to the Organization for Technical Intern Training, the Immigration Services Agency and other authorities, and to the sending organization, as required by law.
4. Security measures
We take appropriate security measures and train our staff to prevent leaks, loss or damage of personal information.
5. Management of contractors
When we outsource the handling of personal information, we select contractors carefully and supervise them as needed.
6. Requests for disclosure, correction or suspension of use
When a person asks to disclose, correct or stop using their personal information, we confirm their identity and respond promptly in accordance with the law.
